Ashtanga Yoga was later her choice of practice for years while living in Australia due to the moving meditation aspect of it. She then she shifted to the All-Levels Hatha Yoga she teaches today which is more of a flowing style of asanas, pranayama, meditation, as well as chanting mantras and enjoying an occasional kirtan.
In 2007, she completed an ISHTA Teacher Training in Byron Bay, Australia with Rachel Zinman, which was followed by a gentle hands-on Advanced Adjusting apprenticeship. She taught classes for a year before heading to a Yoga Retreat in Ubud, Bali, a yogi haven, to deepen her knowledge and practice of yoga. She has been teaching a variety of classes since 2007 in both Australia and in Lawrence, including individualized private sessions, baby & kid's yoga, prenatal, is expanding into teaching workplace & corporate yoga, and is leading peaceful & inspiring Weekend Yoga Retreats.
She believes if one can practice breath and be present then anyone can be a Yogi.

Both of her teachers are Bhakti yogis, and have passed that lineage down to her, yet when teaching a yoga asana class Hatha yoga best describes her style. Koko encourages her students to enter into their heart space to uncover their true nature, and act accordingly whether in class or out in the world.

signal-2017-05-08-074708Walt Ohnesorge was born in Tennessee in 1986. His mother, Karen Ohnesorge would practice yoga while she was pregnant with him in New York. Karen was working on a BFA in creative writing at that time. Twenty-four years later, Walt would began his yoga practice in San Francisco shortly after completing his MFA in 2011. He's used yoga as a means to escape addiction, tame pain, build strength, and connect more meaningfully with those around him. In 2016, he completed a teacher training with Gopi Sandal. Walt uses asana, pranayama, and guided visualizations, to help people positively re-connect with their bodies, others around them, and with nature. His philosophy is designed to promote awareness and connection to self and responsibilities. Taking a class with walt may cause some sweating, but no need for a towel as he has a very dry sense of humor.
