~Class description

Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series
uses breath to link postures. Often called
the original vinyasa yoga, Ashtanga has origins in India going back
thousands of years. Today it is practiced the world over by people of all
ages, abilities, and experience levels. Ashtanga is a therapeutic practice
often used by individuals to correct musculoskeletal misalignment. The
Primary Series usually takes 90 minutes long, and modifications are given
so all can practice.

Beginners Yoga is for students who are newer to yoga, who are out of practice,
or looking for a mellow basics class. Focus on the breath and meditation both
through movement and in stillness. Abundant use of props and variations as
needed to help make poses more accessible. All levels, all body types, and

Community Yoga~ a FREE/love offering to all the community.
This class is an open, all levels class taught by the teachers at Be
Moved and other teachers in our community. Come as a beginner
or as an advanced yogi to share in our love for yoga!

Enlightened Vinyasa Flow is a well rounded vinyasa style that is great for
all levels. We will flow through crafty yoga sequences to bring lightness to
your practice and to help build mindfulness through body awareness.
As we flow you will learn proper engagement to create efficient lines of
energy to allow your practice to feel light, balanced, and connected.
Not only will you gain a better understanding of your body in space but also
build a deeper level of awareness with yourself. Let's flow!

Finding Balance Yoga~From beginner to practiced yogi, flexible or not,
this all levels hatha yoga class focuses on moving & flowing with the
breath within proper asana alignment so that you may listen to your own
body & it's needs to help you find balance, strength, inspiration & peace
inside and out.

Kundalini Yoga for Mental Clarity & Healthy Nervous System ~ Kundalini
Yoga for Everyone … beginners are welcome and encouraged. This series
works systematically from the base of the spine to the top, adding flexibility.
Many people report greater mental clarity after doing this kriya.

Kundalini Yoga for a Radiant You ~Kundalini Yoga is called the Yoga
of Awareness. It is a dynamic, powerful tool that is designed to give you
an experience of your soul. In Kundalini Yoga we harness the mental,
physical, and nervous energies of the body and put them under the
domain of the will, which is the instrument of the soul. This technology
precisely and consciously combines breath, mudra, eye-focus, mantra,
body locks, and postures to balance the glandular system, strengthen

Meditative Yoga is an appropriately – paced and gentle
way to guide mind and body deeper into the heart of one’s true self.
This class will prepare oneself for the week ahead by building stamina
and reducing stress. The asana practice will focus on breath work with
therapeutic movements that rejuvenate the joints and muscles of the body.
Each class will end with a Yoga Nidra session. Yoga Nidra is a
systematic method of inducing complete physical, mental and emotional
relaxation, teaching us to relax consciously, increase physiological function,
reduce anxiety, relieve depression symptoms andstress. This ancient practice
is relevant and accessible to all.

Open Mind Body Balance~ starting with breath work and moving into a
series that open and balance the body and mind. Finishing with svanasana
and optional guided body scan and meditation at the end of class.

Sivananda Yoga~Pranayama and Sun Salutations begin the meditative
movements, and deep relaxation caps the class. 12 core asanas cleanse
and energize all 8 chakras and balance building strength with increasing
flexibility. For all levels and body types, with variations offered for individualized progress.

Self-Care Yoga ~ a rejuvenative class offers a blend of moderately active poses
and restorative/gentle poses that are held for longer. There is abundant use of
props and variations to provide options for each pose. These options are given in
order to help you stay in touch with the self, keeping in mind that every
body/day/season/phase/mood fluctuates. Focus on gradually building up your
practice to address flexibility, balance, strength, breath work and stress release,
to name a few. All levels encouraged!

Yoga Mindfully starts with a guided visualization and centering breath work. Each
session will focus on bringing consciousness into the body and linking the breath
with a series of warming postures before moving into a deeper, slower, and cooler,
connection to breath and the earth.
